Introdution

ESBC (Ecowas Small Business Coalition), is committed to working with ECOWAS to strengthen economic cooperation in West Africa. By promoting the strengthening of SMEs—which are fundamental to economic stability and job creation—the coalition acts as a catalyst for regional integration. The ESBC is doing a fantastic job of facilitating cross-border trade and economic cooperation, thereby promoting the region’s goals of inclusive growth and sustainable development.

At the same time, the ESBC forms strategic partnerships with like-minded companies and donor entities that offer vital resources and support to create a strong, sustainable, and future-oriented business environment throughout West Africa.

The ECOWAS Commission has the full support of the ECOWAS Small Business Coalition (ESBC) to promote regional integration and strengthen the capacity of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs). This initiative is aligned with ECOWAS Vision 2050, AfCFTA, and ETLS, contributing to expanding MSME access to regional and international markets.

Promote a thriving ecosystem for SMEs in West Africa by driving innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable practices to foster inclusive economic growth and regional integration.

Promote SME growth in West Africa through improved access to resources, capacity building, policy reforms, regional trade, partnerships, and digital innovation, creating a sustainable and integrated ecosystem.
